Type Locality and Naming

Named after Tokubai-Ata Mountain (Togbai-Ata), South-Eastern Fergana. A.V. Sochava, 1963 (288, p.1148). Middle formation in Changet Gr. Stratotype not specified

Synonym: Tokubai Suite, Токубайская св., Kuvassay Suite, Upper Changet Suite. L.B. Rukhina (390).


Lithology and Thickness

Red, pink sandstones with interlayers of clays, gravels, marls, and limestones. Thickness 100-350m.

Lower contact

Lies conformably on the Klaudzin Fm or Apsyr Fm

Upper contact

It is conformably overlain by the Budali Fm

Regional extent

South-Eastern Fergana, Naucat Basin. Enters the Changet Gr. Corresponds to the upper part of the Changet Gr, S.N. Simakov. (416; 417; 433).
